Biotechnology

1. What is Biotechnology?
Biotechnology is technology based on bio. It's the use of living organisms and bioprocesses in engineering, technology, medicine and other fields requiring bioproducts (products of living organisms). Biotechnology involves the human body, making the human body better (like the hand in the video).

2. Who would benefit from this technology, and what are the advantages?
People that were born with a disabilities or soldiers that lost their body parts in war, people that lost their body parts in accident,.. all would get benefit from this technology. The advantages of this technology is that it allows we to replace human body parts to a mechanical body parts.

3. Is it ethnical to replace a normal well function body part to a biotechnology arm ?
I think that it's not ethnicsl to do that, because I would like to keep my body parts to myself. I don't like replace anything in me (if it's sick than yes). But I won't replace my dear well function arm to a biotechnology arm.

Future Home Technology

As we can see, technology is improving and changing every day. For the past 40 years, much different type of technologies had made a boost. For example, 40 years ago, televisions are extremely enormous; they are big, and very inconvenient for moving. Nowadays, LCDs are unbelievable thin, small and are much lighter than the old televisions we used to have. With this current speed of making modification, we were expecting that the future technology would be huge. As I was surfing the internet, I found a very interesting website that wrote about Future Home Technology. In future, according to the website, the home will run off solar panels, wind turbines or both. I think this is a great improvement because both of these sources are friendly with the environment. Backup power could be batteries or an electrolyzer, compressed hydrogen and fuel cell may also be used as backup power. Extra hydrogen and electricity will be produced and stored so you can fuel up and recharge your hydrogen fuel cell plug-in hybrid electric car, which is the future car you'll most likely be driving. There are tons of other technologies for the future that is already available now, for example, the electric car, which were built to rescue the environment from being polluted by fossil fuel. Electric cars aren't that useful, because, what if you ran out of electricity in the middle of the road. Future technology will help us do things more efficiently and make your life easier.

There are many advantages that new technology brought to us, like make it easier to do almost anything, save time, save environment, healthier,... Along with these advantages came disadvantages, like it is too much to afford for, not quite useful, not very well-known (in using)….

Cultural Diversity

-What is Cultural Diversity? Explain why it is important to respect Cultural Diversity?
Every one of us is special, unique, extraordinary, and incomparable. We came from many different parts of countries, cultures and regions of the world. We are different in our appearance, social structures, belief systems, and strategies the cultures use for adapting to life situations in various parts of the world.
“Cultural Diversity” means the state of being diverse or different in many ways (cultures, language...). It also means multiculturalism. We can refer cultural diversity in many groups within a country, the majority and the minority. The differences in values system, religion and local cultures could also account to the diversity.
Diversity is important because it provides our society and culture with unique and inspirational perspectives. Diversity can create new ideas and changes that can be extremely beneficial to a society, or could even to the world.
In America, you can see that it’s normal to ask an adult name, but in China, it would consider rude and disrespectful. You eat by fork and spoon in Europe but Asians usually eat with chopsticks. Cultural Diversity allowed us to find joy in meals, different food, and different meal custom. Think of how boring it would be eating the same food every single day. Me for myself, I love trying out new food and different traditions we need to do before eating. =]]]

ICT Tet Homework

1. The internet version contains videos, images and informations while the newspaper version only contains some images and informations. Readers usually prefer illustrations on the website more than the images on newspapers because they are colorful and easier to look at than black-and-white pictures on the newspaper. Also, because on websites, there are videos, readers can easily imagine how the events happened rather than descriptive words on paper based version. Also, people that don't have time to buy newspaper, would like to read news on the internet to save time and you could also read news that you've missed from yesterday or the day before. Both versions contain the same important and basic information and facts about the main topic (for example: where did the events took place? When? Why? How did it happened? What do goverment had done to took place in it?) Things like that. Every version has been checked and edited to make sure that there are no errors found by their readers. Also newspaper online updated constantly allow the publisher to change or post more related news to teh given events.

2. The internet version has more illustrations to support its main topic but it is not trustworthiness because hackers can hack the website and enter opinons or things that are not facts. While newspaper was printed on paper so other people can't change the information on the newspaper. If they do, then it must be the producer wanting to correct the paper. So newspapers are much more trustworthiness than the internet.

My Holiday

In my holidays, the things that surprised me the most is how exciting Christmas is. It was so fun and ....exciting! I was wandering around the city and saw a lot of people hanging out. The city was very beautiful, it was filled with lights and Christmas' accessories.
I was sick during the holiday, so it kinda makes me sad. I had a fever, the highest temperature I got was 40 degree Celsius. I was exhausted after the fever. I hate it!!!!
The thing that made me say "WOW!!!" is how stupid I was. I was arguing for a certain things with my brother, not knowing that I looked like an idiot, yelling out wrong things, and think that I was correct.
